Since our founding in 2021, we have a clear vision: To bring padel in Austria closer to sports-loving people and to get them excited about this dynamic sport. As one of leading provider in Austria We are determined to shape the sport of padel and increase its popularity. We want to establish padel as an integral part of Austrian sports culture and rely on continuous development and innovation.
Our trip with padel
We have been writing the story of Padelbase since 2021 — with passion for sport, a growing community and the goal of establishing padel across Austria. Here are the most important milestones on our journey.
2021
Founding of Padelbase
The father & son duo Manfred & Björn founded Padelbase with the vision of making padel popular in Austria and establishing it as an integral part of the sports landscape.
2022
Opening of the first locations
The first padel base facility opens in Wels, Manfred & Björn's home town. Marchtrenk, Rohrbach, Neunkirchen and Salzburg follow shortly after — and bring the trendy sport of padel across and across Austria with full energy.
2023
Events, community & corporate padel grow
Tournaments, taster days and company offers attract new target groups to the court. Padelbase is growing — not only in terms of facilities, but also as a team: Investments and expansions are being made in the Sports & Operations sector in particular.
2024
Academy. franchise. marketing. The next big step.
The Padelbase Academy is creating a structured training system for all levels — led by new international head coach Guillem. In marketing, the team is strengthened by a strategic new appointment. The highlight: The first franchise system is officially launched.
2025
Rebranding, platform & new dimensions
Padelbase presents itself with a new brand identity, a clear positioning and a fresh website. With the move to a larger office, additional event power and the opening of four new facilities, including the first indoor hall in Linz, a new chapter begins.

Manfred — experienced in athlete management & corporate management, determined, success-oriented and a handshake.
Björn is our visionary — with a sporting background and a clear goal to bring padel base to the top.
Carla has over 10 years of experience in event management — structured, with attention to detail and full of passion for action.
Growing up with padel and founder of the first facility in Amsterdam — Marc lives the sport with full conviction.
Guillem brings World Padel Tour experience and strengthens Padelbase as a coach with know-how and game feeling.
From major international events to padel base: Alex plans every tournament with heart, know-how and attention to detail.
